From next week, the Akimat of the Aktobe region will start the working day half an hour earlier.

According to the press service of the department, from 21 April the office of the regional akim, regional departments, and the Akimat of Aktobe are switching to a new working time schedule: from 08:30 to 17:30, with a lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30. This schedule was approved taking into account the opinion of civil servants.

"An internal survey showed that more than 70% of employees supported the change in working hours, noting the convenience of an earlier start and end to the working day," the statement said.

It is noted that the changes are aimed at increasing the efficiency of government bodies and improving service to the public.

Recall that in March it was reported that in 12 of the 13 administrative units of the East Kazakhstan region, the work schedule of state institutions, enterprises and social services was adapted to the new time.

Later, the Akimat of Astana also proposed changing the work schedule of some organisations to reduce the load on the road network during peak hours.
