According to the press service of the government, the funds will be allocated to restore damaged facilities, as well as to build new schools and kindergartens.
"The government continues restoration work in educational institutions and organisations that were damaged by the spring floods. For this purpose, additional funds have been allocated from the government's emergency reserve. The corresponding resolution has been signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov.", - the government reported.
It is reported that the restoration work will cover the Kostanay, Akmola and Aktobe regions.
In the Kostanay region, they plan to repair the building of the school named after Aysa Nurmanov in the Dzhangeldinsky district.
In the Akmola region, they intend to build School No. 1 in the city of Atbasar, the 'Ishim' health complex in the village of Sergeevka in the Atbasar district, as well as the school named after Abay in the city of Derzhavinsk. In the Aktobe region, they plan to build the school named after Kotibar Batyr, the 'Balausa' kindergarten in the Mugalzharsky district, the Yekpetalskaya school, as well as a school-kindergarten and the 'Balbobek' kindergarten in the Uilsky district.
"The allocated funds will allow local executive bodies to promptly restore the damaged buildings before the start of the next academic year, which will ensure the continuity of the educational process.", - the statement reads.
Let us recall that earlier, Prime Minister Bektenov held a meeting on issues of restoring housing and infrastructure after the floods, where he noted that some regions are lagging behind the work schedule by 15-25 days. Later, he visited the west of the country to inspect the progress of building houses for those affected by the floods.
At the same time, it was reported that the government of Kazakhstan additionally allocated 22.7 billion tenge from the emergency reserve to eliminate the consequences of the floods and restore destroyed infrastructure facilities.
It was noted that the funds would be directed to the akimats for the restoration and construction of roads and bridges, as well as culverts in the Akmola, Aktobe, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
Also, the government announced that after the floods, 12 billion tenge was allocated from the reserve to compensate for the property losses of businesses.
Furthermore, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev presented a table with the names of entrepreneurs and the amounts of financial aid to the regions affected by the floods.
