Electric scooters in Kazakhstan have started operating under new rules
From 1 July 2026, part of the new requirements for the operation of rental e-scooters came into force in Kazakhstan. Kick‑sharing services are obliged to identify users, verify their age and driving licence status, and also apply digital tools to monitor the use of the vehicle.
