In the Almaty region, on the grounds of the Shelek District Hospital, a dump of medical preparations was discovered, including waste subject to mandatory disposal. The police have registered a pre-trial investigation and are establishing the circumstances of the violation. Sanitary services have been brought in to carry out an inspection. A similar case involving medical waste was previously recorded in Ust-Kamenogorsk, where those responsible were brought to disciplinary account.
