In the Akmola Region, overflow occurred across the pontoon bridge on the Shagalaly River, prompting rescuers to organise a crossing for local residents. In the North Kazakhstan Region, a section of the road was washed out due to rising meltwater; the road was opened to allow water to pass through and restoration work has begun. The situation is under control of the authorities.
