10 August on the fields of Kaisar-Agro LLP in the village of Novonezhinka, Auliekol district, Kostanay region, a combine harvester caught fire. The fire broke out on the first day of the harvesting campaign, and the machinery is valued at approximately 100 million tenge.

WHERE AND WHEN THE FIRE OCCURRED

The fire broke out on the fields of Kaisar-Agro LLP in the Auliekol district. It is reported that the machinery went out for harvesting on the first day of the campaign.

According to the account of the farm's director, Abdul-Vagap Mitayev, the air temperature that day was below 40 degrees. The exact cause of the fire has not yet been established.

WHERE THE FIRE STARTED

According to the published explanation from the farm's director, the fire broke out in the upper part of the combine, in the area where the engine is located. The machinery was fitted with a charged fire extinguisher, and a tank containing 30 litres of water was also provided.

At the edge of the field at that moment there were a tractor with a plough and a water bowser with a pump. However, the available resources were not sufficient at first, and after roughly five minutes the fire intensified and engulfed the machine.

The value of the burnt machinery was approximately 100 million tenge.

CONTEXT AND SIGNIFICANCE

In May 2026, a major fire occurred on the territory of the Khorgos International Centre for Cross-Border Cooperation, in which 17 Kazakhstani lorries were burnt out. The fire broke out on the border area on the Chinese side.

The akimat of Panfilov district reported that legal and practical assistance would be offered to the owners and drivers of the burnt vehicles.

Since the incident took place on Chinese territory, all proceedings are being conducted on the Chinese side.
