In Almaty, the automatic enforcement system "Sergek" mistakenly recognised the number plate of a BMW car as a bus number plate. The car's owner, Sanzhar Narubayev, reported four fines for driving in the bus lane. After the situation was made public, the police confirmed the recognition error.
