The AFM has identified illegal ore extraction with damage to land amounting to 485 million tenge in the Karaganda region
Near the village of Sayak in the city of Balkhash, illegal extraction of iron and manganese ore was stopped. According to the investigation, the work was organised by the director of two companies. The total volume of extracted soil amounted to 338 thousand cubic metres, and the restoration of disturbed land was valued at 485 million tenge.
