Most cases of bribery among customs officers are detected at the border with Uzbekistan
Kazakhstan’s Finance Minister Madi Takiyev has reported that most cases of bribery among Kazakh customs officers are detected on the border with Uzbekistan. Similar violations are also recorded on the border with China. The bribes are, in particular, linked to expedited border crossing.
