An MP proposed creating an electronic system for protecting women in Kazakhstan
Kurultai deputy Aizhan Aymaganova has proposed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MIA) launch an "Electronic Protection Zone" system for the early detection of domestic violence threats. The initiative came after high-profile murders of women in Semey and Astana.
