The National Security Committee (KNB) shut down a channel for the illegal export of oil products worth 45 billion tenge
The National Security Committee (NSC) has shut down the activities of an organised group that was illegally exporting petroleum products from Kazakhstan. Between 2019 and 2023, more than 160,000 tonnes of petroleum products were sent abroad through one of the companies. The total value of the transactions was estimated at approximately 45 billion tenge.
