Landowners of private subsidiary plots in Almaty have complained to the President about lawsuits filed by the city administration.
A group of landowners in Almaty has sent a collective appeal to the President of Kazakhstan. The petitioners ask to stop the practice of recovering from them the cadastral value of land and losses of agricultural production – payments that began to be demanded years after the plots were officially transferred from the category of “personal subsidiary farming” to “individual housing construction.”
