A witness has spoken about the causes of the MI-8 crash and the time lost in rescuing the crew.
In court regarding the Mi-8 disaster in the West Kazakhstan Region (WKR), witness Nurbek Shakishev named the causes that the aviation commission cited in the investigation materials. According to him, the crew lost visual contact with the ground, failed to make a timely decision to turn back, and did not manage to reach a safe altitude.
