Kazakhstan has challenged the Kashagan contracts worth $10.7 billion over possible bribes
Kazakhstan is arguing in international arbitration that around a dozen contracts for the development of the Kashagan field, totalling $10.7 billion, may have been linked to conflicts of interest, unjustified cost escalation or bribery. The arbitration tribunal has not yet issued a ruling on these claims.
