Residents of a village in the Akmola region have been waiting for payout on their land shares for 22 years and are seeking the return of the lands.
Residents of the village of Zhana-Kiyma in the Zhaksyn district of the Akmola region have appealed to the akim of the Akmola region, Marat Akhmetzhanov, with a request to help resolve a long-standing dispute over share-held lands. According to the shareholders, the matter concerns approximately 3,000 hectares of land.
