More than 1,300 people have been released under an amnesty in Kazakhstan
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported that since the implementation of the Law "On Amnesty in Connection with the Adoption of the New Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" began, 620 people have already been released from penal enforcement institutions, and a further 724 citizens have been released from further service of their sentences under the probation service.
