The Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market (ARDFM) has responded to calls for the resignation of its chair, Madina Abylkassymova, which appeared in a petition following the launch of a unified interbank QR code. The authority stated that matters concerning the system’s operation, as well as the regulation of interbank acquiring fees, fall outside its remit.
