JSC «KazMunayGas-SERVICE NS», a subsidiary of JSC «NC «QazaqGaz», which manages the Burabay golf club and hotel in Shchuchinsk, Akmola Region, ended 2024 with a loss of 450 million tenge.
According to Forbes.kz, the complex is located on the south-eastern shore of Lake Shchuchye and occupies a plot of 103 hectares, of which 56 hectares are allocated to an 18-hole golf course and a training area with artificial ponds. The construction cost of the facility as of the end of 2021 was 19.4 billion tenge.
The complex includes:
- a three-storey clubhouse covering 3,891 m² (with restaurants, a lounge bar, SPA zone, conference halls and a swing studio);
- a VIP villa covering 817 m²;
- a dormitory with 42 rooms covering 1,857 m²;
- a garage for 80 golf carts.
It is noted that 80 employees are responsible for maintaining the facility, while the company's central office has a staff of 6 people.
According to the 2024 report:
- the authorised capital of JSC «KazMunayGas-SERVICE NS» amounted to 38.96 billion tenge;
- accumulated losses reached 38.6 billion tenge;
- in January 2025, JSC «NC «QazaqGaz» additionally contributed another 488 million tenge to the company's capital.
It was also reported that the total remuneration for key management in 2024 amounted to 45.6 million tenge. The sole recipient of this amount was the company's general director, Tleubek Baikalganov.
